Description
MarechalBanane (he/him) is a French indie dev based in La Maison du Jeu Vidéo, Rennes. He strives to make games that bring people closer together.
History
MarechalBanane started working as a game programmer in 2012 in Paris. He spent 3 years at a small company called 'Le Cortex.' making karaoke games for the Wii and PS3. He then moved on to work at 'Amplitude Studios' for 7 years, where he contributed to Endless Space 2 and Endless Dungeon.
After more than 10 years spent in the industry, he took an opportunity to go indie and work on his own projects. Since 2023 he is based in La Maison du Jeu Vidéo, Rennes, and has published a few tiny games on its itch.io page.
He's now working on his first indie title, a chill haiku writing game made with pico-8 named "Will The Man Get Frog". It came out on Steam for free on February 14th, and an update was released on April 19th.
MarechalBanane also has other silly projects in the works that he'll share soon.
